Shoe care
Cowhide leather
For all types of calf leather we recommend using our luxury Saphir shoe polish that has nutritive, protective, waterproofing and smoothing properties. Created to “glaze”, this luxury shoe polish has a complex balance of ingredients including turpentine, beeswax, carnauba wax plus another six waxes.
We recommend brushing and removing dust with the polishing brush by Saphir. The next step is to apply a small amount of luxury shoe polish using the small spatula brush by Saphir. If there is not an exact color match between the polish and the shoe, we recommend you always choose the nearest color in a lighter shade than the tone of your shoe. If your shoe has color stitching, the most appropriate shoe polish to use is neutral.
Cordovan leather
In order to specifically preserve features of cordovan leather such as tight pores, we recommend the protection and nutritive care provided by Medaille D’Or cordovan shoe cream by Saphir.

Ante leather
This renovating cream for suede and nubuck is a product that is used to clean, brighten up the color, nourish and waterproof suede or nubuck shoes. Made from sweet almonds that help preserve the satin effect of this leather.
Before using the renovating cream on suede we recommend you clean the shoes with the crepe brush by Saphir so as to lift the nap. Shake the can before spraying the creamy foam at a distance of 30cm from the shoe, evenly over the surface. Leave to dry before brushing with the polishing brush by Saphir. If your shoe has small marks or stains on it, we recommend using Super Gommadin Medaille D’Or. For shoes that have more serious stains or marks, we recommend using Ominettoyant Medaille D’Or, applied directly or diluted in water in circular motions on the stains using the special brush that comes with the product.
If there is not an exact color match between the renovating cream and the shoe, we recommend you always choose the nearest color in a lighter shade than the tone of your shoe. If your shoe has color stitching, the most appropriate shoe polish to use is neutral.
Reptile leather
A neutral product that does not interfere with the original color of the leather upon which it is being used. It can be applied to all types of reptile leather: crocodile, snake, and lizard. Apply using the shammy cloth in circular movements.
