Oxford men’s shoes can have a plain or decorated vamp. Other styles include decorations with perforations on wingtips, semi-brogue or quarter-brogue. The term “brogue” stems from old Scottish and Irish footwear that was perforated to allow water to run through the shoe when worn in boggy conditions.
