WHAT IS THE GLENT SHOES MADE-TO-MEASURE CONCEPT?

Glent Perfect Fit is a proprietary made-to-measure shoe service based on smart software and 3D technology that guarantees a perfect fit. By harnessing the latest technological advancements, we can determine the exact size of your foot and offer you a wide range of shoe lasts, soles and types of leather to suit. We have over 300 possible measurement combinations in total for each model, from which we will suggest the one that best suits your needs. We take measurements of each foot using a 3D scanner installed at the point of sale, which provides precise measurements of foot length, width and instep height to offer personalised recommendations on the best leather, sole, lining and manufacturing process for you based on your habits and lifestyle.

HOW CAN I KNOW THE RIGHT SIZE FOR MY FEET?

For our made-to-measure products, we recommend visiting one of our stores first of all so we can take measurements of your feet using our scanner and then check the recommended size with our tester shoes. This process must be completed every time you want to place a shoe order using each one of our shoe lasts for the first time. For our ready-to-wear shoes, we recommend measuring each foot at home by following the instructions in our Foot Sizes and Widths Guide. People are not symmetrical and each one of our feet is different. You should use the measurements from your larger foot and find the equivalent Glent length.

DO I HAVE TO SCAN MY FEET TO KNOW MY SIZE?

Yes, this is necessary if you want to make a made-to-measure “Perfect Fit” pair of shoes. We have shoes in various sizes and widths so you can try them on and choose the ones in which you feel the most comfortable. However, the scanner provides us with information about your foot measurements that is extremely useful to us when suggesting the best size for you.

DOES THE WEB CONFIGURATION TOOL DISPLAY THE REAL SHOE CHARACTERISTICS?

Although every effort is made to ensure that the colours, design and style of the Glent Shoes products shown in the photographs on the glentshoes.com website are representative of the original products, variations may occur due to technical colour reproduction limitations on your device (mobile, computer or tablet), as well as the range of settings available on each screen.

CAN I USE GLENT SHOES WITH MY INSOLES?

You will have no problem using your insole because the configuration tool used for our Perfect Fit collection will give you that option and you will be able to add extra depth to your shoe, as well as any other necessary details. We always recommend providing us with information about the type of insole you are going to use and that you ask for advice from our professional podiatrists. Most of our ready-to-wear shoes also let you integrate your insoles.

CAN USING GLENT SHOES WITH MY INSOLES RUIN THEM?

No, because we will add extra depth to the shoes when configuring them so you can use your insole problem-free and feel totally comfortable. It is very important to take advice from our team of podiatrists and to tell them about any feature or special characteristic of your feet. We recommend booking an appointment on the website here. The insole recommended by your podiatrist requires a shoe made to suit its measurements and configuration in order to optimise the therapeutic purpose for which it was prescribed.

CAN DEPTH BE ADDED TO THE SHOES IN STORE SO I CAN USE MY INSOLES?

Yes, you can add the depth you need, provided you do so before the customisation process and the initial order.

DO YOU HAVE SHOES IN STOCK? CAN I BUY READY-TO-WEAR SHOES?

Yes, our Glent Wear collection is available in up to three widths and in half sizes to ensure the right length and width, all based on the guarantees that come with the leading Spanish brand in made-to-measure shoes. We provide a wide variety of elegant, sophisticated and timeless designs that also allow your comfort insoles to be used. This collection is available both online and in our stores.

HOW MUCH DOES ORDER SHIPPING COST?

We offer free delivery with any order over € 180 to mainland Spain. Deliveries to the Spanish islands are subject to an additional charge of € 25. The cost of delivery to international locations will depend on the geographical region of the delivery destination and the number of items to be delivered. Items selected for delivery to countries outside the European Union may be subject to taxes, customs duties and tariffs imposed by the destination country (import duties). The addressee of the delivery is the nominal importer in the destination country and responsible for paying all import duties. Glent Shoes will not pay or assume liability for any cost, tariff, export duty or similar.

WHAT PAYMENT METHODS DOES GLENT SHOES ACCEPT?

We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, PayPal and bank transfer. Payment data are sent using encrypted SSL methods. Only CES (Secure e-Commerce) transactions will be accepted for payment with Visa and Mastercard.

CAN I COLLECT MY ORDER IN STORE?

Yes. If you want to collect your order in store, you need to select the ‘collect in store’ option when making your purchase.

WHEN ARE ORDERS PROCESSED?

All orders are subject to acceptance by Glent Shoes. Once we accept your order, we will send e-mail confirmation to you. This e-mail is referred to as our “Order acceptance”. It should be noted that any orders placed via the website outside of our normal working hours (Monday to Friday from 10:30 to 19:00 and Saturdays from 10:30 to 14:00) or on public holidays will not be processed until the next working day. Working days are understood to mean those as defined by Madrid City Council.

WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY ORDER?

When the item is in stock, the transport agencies with which we operate estimate a delivery time of between 3 and 5 days. This may be extended to up to 15 days during such holiday periods as Christmas, Easter and the summer. Glent accepts no liability for strikes, closures, stoppages or labour disputes affecting the operations of third parties. The delivery time for made-to-measure products is approximately six weeks from the moment you place your order. Delivery times for international deliveries will vary based on the geographic region.

HOW CAN I TRACK MY ORDER?

As soon as the order leaves our factory or warehouse, you will receive an automatic e-mail with an order tracking number. You will also receive updates regarding the status of your order, scheduled delivery date and package location.

CAN I CANCEL OR CHANGE MY ORDER?

As soon as you complete the configuration process and place your order, our factory will receive the order immediately and start the leather cutting process. This is why we do not accept changes once an order has been placed for made-to-measure shoes.

CAN I RETURN MY ORDER?

You can return your order and obtain a refund at any time within 30 days after the date on which you received your original order. Unfortunately, we cannot accept any returns beyond this period. If you wish to return your order, you must send an e-mail to pedidos@glentshoes.com with the following information:

All products must be returned unmarked and in the original box, in good condition and with all other accessories that may have been delivered (e.g. fabric bag, labels, etc.).

Can I return any item?

No. The following items cannot be returned:
- ● Socks
- ● Shoelaces
- ● Cleaning products
- ● Customised and/or made-to-measure shoes
- ● Any product that has been modified to meet a customer request
- ● Any used item

How much does it cost to return an item?

For returns within mainland Spain, Glent pays for the delivery and one initial return or exchange of the first pair of shoes. If a second return or the exchange of more pairs is requested, the customer must pay € 8 by PayPal. For the Spanish islands, the customer pays the cost of delivery and this includes the first return or exchange. If a second return or exchange is requested, the customer must pay € 14 by PayPal. For deliveries to Europe and the rest of the world, the customer pays for delivery (costs may vary based on the destination country) and this includes the first return or exchange. If a second return or exchange is requested, the customer must pay for this according to the fees indicated in our delivery price list via a PayPal payment request.

How can I find out if my returned item has arrived?

Once we receive your package at our warehouse, we will check that everything is correct and send you an e-mail with confirmation of receipt.

When will I receive my exchange or refund?
-
When we receive your returned order at our warehouse, we will check the condition of the item and process authorisation for exchange or refund as quickly as possible. You will be kept informed. We will issue any refund via the same method as that used for the original payment. For exchanges, we will need between 2 and 5 days to process the new delivery. If you have any questions about size changes, exchanges or returns in general, please call (+34) 913 895 887 from Monday to Friday between 10:30 and 19:00 and on Saturdays between 10:30 and 14:00. If you prefer, a chat tool is available on the website from Monday to Friday between 09:00 and 14:30.

ARE GLENT SHOES HEALTHY?

Our shoes are healthy because they adapt to the shape of your foot, unlike what usually happens with other types of shoes in which your foot has to adapt to the shape of the shoe. However, they are not therapeutic shoes.

DO GLENT MATERIALS PRODUCE ANY KIND OF ALLERGY?

At Glent, we only use materials of the utmost quality. All our leathers and linings are made from cow leather except Cordovan leather, which is made from horse leather. We have never detected any kind of allergy or dermatitis during tests that we have performed in the past.

DO THE ITEMS THAT CONTAIN EXOTIC LEATHERS INCLUDE A CERTIFICATE?

Orders containing exotic leathers (lizard, alligator, crocodile, iguana, ostrich or eel) will be accompanied by a certificate issued by the Ministry on the traceability of these leathers.
- ● This certificate is only necessary for the export of exotic leathers outside of the European Union.
- ● The Spanish authorities issue these official certificates (CITES) and delivery in such cases may be subject to a delay of between 7 and 14 days.

DO THE GIFT CARDS EXPIRE?

No, the gift cards do not expire. However, if more than six months have passed since it was purchased and the prices of the item chosen on the card have changed, the customer will need to pay the difference.
